About the Southwest PGA Foundation
The Southwest PGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the charitable arm of the Southwest Section PGA and its more than 1,200 PGA golf professionals. Established in 1998, the organizational mission is:
To utilize the game of golf and our member professionals to positively impact the lives of youth, military veterans, minorities and at-risk families and individuals within the communities we serve.
Since its inception, the Southwest PGA Foundation has provided more than $1.5 million in support of local charities such as: Ronald McDonald House Charities, Special Olympics Arizona, Phoenix Children's Hospital, JDRF, Habitat for Humanity and more.
Birdies For Good is a unique fundraising event where Southwest PGA Professionals receive a pledge amount per birdie they make during a one-day, 72-hole event.
